We have been spending a lot of time in our kitchen lately, trying out new recipes and using all the tools we got from our wedding. I love to bake cookies, brownies, cupcakes, pies--you name it. Steve has asked me not to bake too much because he ends up eating everything. That's a compliment, right? He has been cooking pastas, seafood, steaks and soups. What more could a girl ask for? Time to get this guy an apron and onto Top Chef.
For Valentine's Day I woke up to this. A very LARGE breakfast bagel sandwich.
And these!
Then, Steve cooked a fabulous lobster tail dinner with garlic mashed red potatoes, wild rice, french bread AND a side salad. It was very yummy!

For dessert I made heart shaped chocolate chunk brownies topped with Butterfinger ice cream.
Hope you all had a loving and tasty Valentine's Day!

You two!!! You're killing me with fabulous-ness. I can hardly stand it.
You're back! I've been wondering where you've been! You hadn't posted for awhile. But who am I to talk, right?! I'm terrible about posting...so no judgements passed. I just missed hearing about you and Steve's fun life. Even V-Day was exciting for you! And who would have thought that Steve likes to cook? So does Jeff! In fact, he tells me all the time that he wants to go to chef/culinary school. We love to watch Top Chef...even though half the time I have no idea what they are making or how. Anyway, we are so happy all is going well with you guys. We hear that Steve is doing well at work...despite this "wonderful" economy. Jeff is hanging in there, too. Our little baby is due in 3 weeks. Crazy! We don't even know what it's going to be like having 3 kids!!!!! We'd love to have you guys come visit. Jeff would love to take Steve to a Gator game down here. They are truly an event to remember. Until then, take care! And keep in touch! Amy
