This will be the first and last post that I will write, so here goes nothing.
Jenn and I got married on Tuesday. Everything went well that day. As many of you that are married know, one of the things that you are thinking during that day is "I hope everything goes according to plans." Well, we can happily say "yes." The ceremony went well and the luncheon afterwards went great also. We didn't give ourselves a long time to plan things out, so it was nice how everything worked out leading up to the wedding day. For those of you who know me, I am not much of a planner. I decide what I want to do and when I want to do it and then just move forward from there. On the other hand, Jenn is a planner. I guess that is a good thing about being a couple where you off set eachother. For example, Jenn will plan out a day by the hour. From 9am to 10am gym. From 10:30am to 11:30am shower, etc., etc., until the day is over. For me it's like this: Wake up, go to work, come home, eat, watch tv, go to bed.............the end. Now repeat four more times and the weekend is up for grabs. Wow, now I can see how easy it is to go off on tangents on these blogs. Sorry.
Moving on. The rest of the week was great. Almost my entire family was out in Newport Beach for a family reunion so we just did the beach thing with them the rest of the week. It was cool to see everyone and their kids and just be blown away by how big all of my nephews and nieces have gotten. My mom wrote a book about her life and included some old pictures of her and her family from the past. We enjoyed looking at that and taking home a copy. It was fun to talk about old stories from when we were kids. Jenn was hearing some of these stories for the first time so my mom and others made sure they told the most embarrasing one about me. Hey, what are families for?
Jenn and I would like to thank everyone who were able to make it and also those who were not able to make it to our wedding for all of your love and support throughout the years. We cherish your friendship and look forward to many more years of hanging out and doing things together. We especially want to thank our parents for their love and support. Jenn and I are so lucky to have such wonderful parents.
Okay, so that's it. I am now going to turn over the controls to Jenn from here on out. Everyone out there have a great life and I will see you when I see you.
